Dear Future Self,  As I pen down this letter, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement and anticipation for the journey that lies ahead – our journey over the next twenty years. It's a reflection of the dreams, aspirations, and goals that define the essence of who we are today. In twenty years, I envision you at the helm of your own company, a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work that have been the guiding forces throughout these years. I hope the journey to building this venture has been as rewarding and enriching as the dream itself. May your company stand as a testament to authenticity, contributing positively to the community and industry. On the personal front, I picture you surrounded by the warmth and love of a family – a partner who shares in your joys and challenges and two children who bring immeasurable joy and laughter to your life. I hope the bonds within your family are strong and built on a foundation of love, understanding, and mutual support. ...

January 23, 2024 1st Video: https://youtu.be/YEXqiCeyL9A?si=8QxejWu_vecYmoOB I found this video really interesting. He gave good tips about the tools and how the selection tool uses the shortcut V, and the direct selection tool uses the shortcut A. And how you can temporarily alternate between them by holding Ctrl - or Cmd if you're on a Mac. Tips for both tools. You can either select by clicking or box choose by clicking and dragging. Holding the Shift key toggles the selection, which means you can hold Shift to select multiple objects or anchor points and remove them from the selection. Then, If you hold Shift while moving, scaling, or rotating, it'll lock the movement in a certain way. Also, most tools will turn into one of the selection tools when you hold the control or command key. For example, if you're using the Type tool, hold control, and you'll get the selection tool. If you're using one of the shape tools, hold control, and you get the selection tool; th...

January 21, 2024 The Internet is a global network of interconnected computers and devices facilitating communication and information exchange. Computer scientists Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn are credited with inventing the Internet communication protocols we use today and the system referred to as the Internet.   The concept originated in the 1960s with the ARPANET project, and the first message was sent in 1969. The Internet is said to have had its official birthday on January 1, 1983. Before this, there was no common method for the many computer networks to connect with one another. Transfer Control Protocol/Internetwork Protocol (TCP/IP) is a newly established communications protocol. Initially, for research and military use, it evolved into a platform for various applications. The intensifying Cold War served as another impetus for the development of the Internet. The Soviet Union's Sputnik satellite launch prompted the U.S. Defense Department to think about how information c...

January 21, 2024 I'm excited about this class because I want to learn more about Adobe apps, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. My first experience with the Adobe program was with Adobe Premier Pro, and I really enjoyed it. Later, I did an internship where I was required to edit videos in Adobe Premier, and I had to collaborate with the design team to do my captions. I realized the importance of knowing how to use Adobe programs during this internship and decided I wanted to minor in digital media. So that's why I look forward to this class so much. My name is Stephanie Quijano, and I am a junior at the University of Tampa. I'm also an international student from Panama. Some fun facts about me are that I play soccer, love to dance, and am a content creator on Tiktok and Instagram. Some achievements I have made were finding what I like: digital media, advertising, and public relations. I also have another minor in communications that I enjoy. My failure would be how lo...
