As I pen down this letter, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement and anticipation for the journey that lies ahead – our journey over the next twenty years. It's a reflection of the dreams, aspirations, and goals that define the essence of who we are today. In twenty years, I envision you at the helm of your own company, a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work that have been the guiding forces throughout these years. I hope the journey to building this venture has been as rewarding and enriching as the dream itself. May your company stand as a testament to authenticity, contributing positively to the community and industry. On the personal front, I picture you surrounded by the warmth and love of a family – a partner who shares in your joys and challenges and two children who bring immeasurable joy and laughter to your life. I hope the bonds within your family are strong and built on a foundation of love, understanding, and mutual support. Cherish each moment with them, for they are the threads that weave the fabric of a fulfilling life. As you reflect on the past two decades, I hope you can look back on a tapestry of diverse experiences. I envision you having explored different corners of the world, immersing yourself in various cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. These adventures with your family should be a source of growth, joy, and lasting memories. In my letter to my future self, I talked about how much I want to travel. Taking pictures is my way of bringing those adventures to life. It's about freezing real moments – the feelings, the beauty, and the stories of the places and people I encounter. My camera is more than a tool; it's like a storyteller in my life. It captures my dreams, the tough times, and the victories. Through my photos, I want to take others on this journey with me, sparking a love for adventure and an appreciation for the amazing things in our world. I hope my photos can show the beauty of different cultures, landscapes, and the human spirit. It's like inviting others to see the world through my eyes. I can't wait to show these pictures to my kids one day. I want them to be a part of the adventure, to see the places we explored together and the joy we shared. I hope my photos become our family album, full of memories, laughter, and love.

Using a combination of fundamental tools like shapes, the Direct Selection Tool, and the Pen Tool, I was able to utilize Adobe Illustrator's creative ability to create my calligram. With the help of these tools, which I used as artistic utensils, I was able to carefully shape and polish the calligram's visual components. Shapes were used to give the composition a dynamic framework, and the Direct Selection Tool made it possible to precisely alter each individual part. I used the Pen Tool, which is a digital brush, for highlighting and detailing so that my calligram's typography and images blended together seamlessly. By skillfully utilizing Illustrator's features, I was able to create my own calligram, which successfully combines graphic design with artistic expression.

    Artist Statement:     For this assignment, I had to include myself in my favorite movie, pirates of the Caribbean. I had to dress up as a pirate, including many layers of clothes, jewelry, and accessories. For the picture, I positioned myself in front of a big window because they had a lot of natural light in this scene. I positioned myself next to Captain Jacksparrow because he is my favorite character. I modified his hand using the puppet warp as if he were hugging me as we passed through this river. I tried to make myself look like I was in the water with them. I place the branches on top of me to make it more natural and blend in with the picture. Also, I included my tag brush as a tattoo on my chest, like a pirate. And I modified the hue saturation and curves to make my picture blend in more.
