Artist Statement: Eclipse in Montreal

My Adobe InDesign project is a postcard capturing the mesmerizing moment of observing the eclipse from Montreal. With Photoshop, I skillfully added the eclipse to the cityscape, crafting a seamless blend of reality and imagination. This postcard serves as a visual invitation, inviting recipients to contemplate the beauty of the cosmos and our place within it. Through thoughtful design and editing, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and connection to the celestial wonders surrounding us

    Artist Statement:     For this assignment, I had to include myself in my favorite movie, pirates of the Caribbean. I had to dress up as a pirate, including many layers of clothes, jewelry, and accessories. For the picture, I positioned myself in front of a big window because they had a lot of natural light in this scene. I positioned myself next to Captain Jacksparrow because he is my favorite character. I modified his hand using the puppet warp as if he were hugging me as we passed through this river. I tried to make myself look like I was in the water with them. I place the branches on top of me to make it more natural and blend in with the picture. Also, I included my tag brush as a tattoo on my chest, like a pirate. And I modified the hue saturation and curves to make my picture blend in more.
