In crafting this propaganda poster, I sought to convey a powerful message of self-love and empowerment through the visual language of color and symbolism. At the forefront of this composition is a compelling self-portrait, a reflection of the unique and radiant individual who gazes back at the viewer.

The choice of colors plays a pivotal role in communicating the essence of the message. The dominant hues of pink and red are carefully selected to symbolize both femininity and power. Pink, a delicate yet assertive color, represents the nurturing qualities often associated with femininity. Red, on the other hand, embodies strength, passion, and the intrinsic power within. Together, they form a harmonious blend that celebrates the multifaceted nature of self-love.

The circular motifs emanating from behind the self-portrait serve as a visual metaphor for the profound strength originating from within. These circles, expanding outward like ripples in water, signify the limitless reservoir of power that resides within each individual.     Artist Statement:     For this assignment, I had to include myself in my favorite movie, pirates of the Caribbean. I had to dress up as a pirate, including many layers of clothes, jewelry, and accessories. For the picture, I positioned myself in front of a big window because they had a lot of natural light in this scene. I positioned myself next to Captain Jacksparrow because he is my favorite character. I modified his hand using the puppet warp as if he were hugging me as we passed through this river. I tried to make myself look like I was in the water with them. I place the branches on top of me to make it more natural and blend in with the picture. Also, I included my tag brush as a tattoo on my chest, like a pirate. And I modified the hue saturation and curves to make my picture blend in more.
